Our Internet boating safety course is officially accepted by the Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries, approved National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and recognized by the United States Coast Guard. Located in Richmond, American Boating Education offers comprehensive online boating education and certification. We also offer specialized “ON THE WATER” boat handling and navigation training. Passing our Online boating safety course meets the requirements for receiving your officially recognized Boater Education Card (required for 14 & 15 year old PWC operators, and those ordered by court). Getting Started: Read the study material, paying close attention to those topics that will keep you safe on the water and prevent you from getting a ticket! Make sure to take the end of chapter quizzes. And when you’re ready, take the 60-question practice exam. The practice exam is automatically graded, so you will be able to track your progress. Once you’ve read the study material and mastered the quizzes and practice exam, enter the “Final Test” portion of the site. The Final Test is 60 multiple-choice questions (4 possible answers to each question).
