Nevada Boat Operators' Course
Welcome to the Internet’s best boating safety course and Your Fastest Way to the Water™!
Your official state boating agency, Nevada Department of Wildlife, accepts and authorizes the American Boat Operators' Course as satisfying the requirements for boater education. The course is officially approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and recognized by the United States Coast Guard.
When you pass the final test, you will be awarded an officially recognized, permanent boating education certificate which shows proof of meeting the legal requirements for Nevada and for operating your boat while visiting other states that have mandatory education requirements. You will also have the option of receiving a temporary boating certificate that will allow you to operate a boat or personal watercraft (PWC) - today!
Not only will passing this course help you meet official legal requirements – it meets the legal requirements to rent most boats and PWC. And, when you contact your insurance agent, you may get an insurance premium discount of 5 –10% (meaning this course will pay for itself in a just a short while)!
Click on each of the chapters. Read the material, paying close attention to those topics that will keep you safe on the water and prevent you from getting a ticket!
Make sure to take the end of chapter quizzes. When you’re ready, take the 60-question practice exam – free of charge. The practice exam is automatically graded, so you will be able to track your progress.
Once you’ve read the study material and mastered the quizzes and practice exam, enter the “Final Test” portion of the site. The final test is very similar to the practice exam. There are no trick questions and each question is multiple choice (4 possible answers to each question).
The cost to receive your official certificate is $20.00 and can be paid using a credit card on our secure server. Best of all, you don’t pay unless you pass!
